Biography

Born in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Teresa began harp lessons at the age of 10 and soon became interested in taking up more serious studies. She was then taught in Vancouver, British Columbia, by renowned harpist Rita Costanzi. Teresa's technique, style and dedication to her work has been largely influenced by her teacher.
 
Upon entering college in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Teresa studied for and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Education with a minor in Music.  During her college years, she was involved in many musical opportunities consisting of duets and ensembles, as well as an orchestra at a neighboring college.
 
Teresa plays a Salvi, Concert Grand Pedal Harp which she enjoys playing at functions such as weddings, anniversaries, fundraising events, etc.  She is also available for either solo performance or background music.
 
In May 2005 she released her first CD, "Harp Unto His Majesty", where she was accompanied by Lisette Moerdyk on the flute.  This recording is a beautiful combination of sacred and classical music.
